It’s easy to get involved in Horizon Radio. We’re always looking for DJs, sportcasters, and people who like to talk a lot and have interesting things to say. All you need to do is send an email to [email protected]. And we’ll be in touch with how to get involved.
Starting in the Fall 2020 semester, we are using a broadcasting system that allows you to run a virtual studio from anywhere with a computer and Internet connection, meaning you can get involved and DJ or host radio shows from your home without having to come into campus.
The Journalism & Media Program at IUS also occasionally offers an Audio Storytelling class that creates some content for Horizon Radio. Contact Professor Ron Allman for more information about that class. (It is being offered in Fall 2018 – JOUR-J 360 Audio Storytelling.)
