The United Kingdom is leaving the European Union in March 2019. One of the most difficult elements of the exit negotiations is the border between (British) Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. IU Southeast Chancellor Ray Wallace shares his experiences growing up in war-torn Northern Ireland and then discusses the near disappearance of the north-south border thanks to a peace agreement – but what happens to that border (and potentially the peace) if the border is restored as part of Brexit?
